My L.I.F.E. stands for Lifestyle Intervention, Food and Exercise.
My L.I.F.E. Program is a lifestyle and weight management course designed to help you lose weight and keep it off for a lifetime. This will be accomplished through education delivered to you in 30 lessons that include topics covering lifestyle intervention, food and exercise. As an e-course, a lesson is sent to your inbox for you to work on independently. The course is easy to understand, easy to follow and the small steps in each lesson make it easy to implement.

Why the My L.I.F.E. Program?
The key to lasting weight loss is a healthier lifestyle. The purpose of this program is learn how to lead a healthier lifestyle by making better food choices and becoming more active, ultimately resulting in reduced body weight. It has been said that weight loss is 80% nutrition and 20% exercise (or some variation there of). Actually, weigh loss is 100% lifestyle, 100% nutrition and 100% exercise. All areas are equally important and dependent on each other for lasting change to occur.
Goals of the program include:
- Identify barriers preventing weight loss and activity.
- Develop strategies to overcome those barriers.
- Identify diet improvements that can be made through education in nutrition.
- Learn a variety of different ways to become more active with the purpose of finding an enjoyable activity to participate in safely and effectively for a lifetime.
This is the same program that is available under Resources For Trainers - My L.I.F.E. Program. The format has been altered from one-on-one or small group training to an e-course that is delivered directly to your inbox. Working with a personal trainer or within a small group is the most ideal way for the program to be delivered due to the personal feedback, counseling, support and camaraderie. However, since not everyone has the time for small group sessions, the budget to pay a trainer or the availability of the program, I have also made it available to everyone through a an e-course.
