Backyard Naturalist Series: Twilight Trails

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to visit the Bouverie Preserve at dusk, the time the preserve really comes to life. The first hour will be spent hiking in silence, giving you a chance to disconnect from the buzz of daily life and enhancing your connection to the natural world. You may hear Great Horned or Screech Owls, or see night flying moths, bats or fluorescent scorpions. Jeanne Wirka, Bouverie Preserve Biologist, will discuss the nocturnal cycles and habits of the animals on preserve.

Dress appropriate in layers and wear hiking shoes or boots.

Bring water and a snack.
