Get Outside During a Sonoma Garden Park Volunteer Workday

Volunteers will learn about herbaceous perennials during the day

The public is invited to attend a Native Plant Nursery Volunteer Workday on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Sonoma Garden Park.

June is the perfect time to start native herbaceous perennials!  Join Sonoma Ecology Center staff at the Native Plant Nursery and gain experience working with yarrow, mugwort, California bee plant and sticky cinquefoil. Volunteers will learn about using these beneficial and drought-tolerant perennials to complement any garden.
