Last Chance: Get Your Booster Feed Tickets, Beekeeping Lessons

1. The Boosters big fundraiser – the Crab Feed – is coming up this weekend. You can dig into some sea creatures on Saturday, May 5, but it's time to buy tickets now. Tickets are $65 per person, and going quickly. (Buy them online at www.svhsboosters.com.) This year, the Boosters will be serving appetizers, and a special dragon cocktail alongside their silent auction, dinner and dancing. 2. The Boosters are still looking for more donations to auction off at the Crab Feed. Always popular are vacation rentals, wine connections, objects d’art, and local goods or services. With big cuts happening at the district next year, the Boosters are becoming an even more crucial source of funding. 3. Love the succulent taste of honey but scared of bees? Overcome your fears: time is running out to grab tickets to the Sonoma Ecology Center's beekeeping event. Buy tickets online for the seminar, which will focus on safety and proper honey-making procedures.

4. Know a senior? (Are you a senior?) Today's the deadline to commit to most colleges and universities – including ones in the UC and CSU system. Where are you going? Have you made your selection? Drop by  today for college appreciation day. Kids will be decked out in the garb of their alma matter of choice.
