Benziger Family Winery in Glen Ellen will seem even farther away this Saturday evening when it turns into “Barcelona in a Barn,” a fundraising paella feast for WillMar.
Guests are even encouraged to dress in appropriate Spanish attire, to make the event all the more colorful.
The event starts at 6:30 p.m. with a reception winery’s cave, featuring ceviche, cheeses by Carneros Caves, wines by Benziger and music by Plan B.
It will be followed by the Paella Feast, hosted by Doug McConnell of the Emmy Award-winning “Bay Area Back Roads” and “Open Road.TV.” Music will accompany the dinner, from Stephan Stubbins of the Transcendence Theater Company.
The paella will be prepared by Zuzu Napa, with dessert by Glen Ellen Star and a live auction in the winery’s barn, all to raise funds for theWillMar.
