Road Flooding Blocks Hwy 121

Expect flooded intersections and tough driving as rains pound Sonoma County through the weekend.

 

Incessant rains have caused floods which have shut down a Sonoma road.

The bulk of Hwy 121 is closed this morning due to flooding. The road is closed starting at the intersection of Hwy 12 at Watmaugh, continuing through the Carneros Hwy and ending with the intersection of Freemont and Arnold Drive.

Rains are expected to pound Sonoma through the weekend – with 70 - 80 percent chance of precipitation predicted through Saturday.
