This year we are bringing back our Bizarre Bazaar where you can rummage through remnants, treasure hunt through piles of trinkets and deal, trade or sell pieces from your vast collection.

To add to the fun of the evening, there will be a pot luck dinner. We ask that you bring a potluck dish and/or non-alcoholic brew to share that serves 4-6 people. Let's treat ourselves to a good meal.Please bring your own place setting. There will be hot water available for tea. We ask non-members to make a donation of $5-10 to help us cover operating costs. No one turned away for lack of funds.

Mega Hot Lava New Play Festival

This annual festival features script-in-hand readings of new plays written by Sonoma State University student playwrights. 

This production is part of "Water Works," is Sonoma State University campus wide project including fine arts and academics drawing on the theme of inland water flow as resource, theme and metaphor. The "Water Works" project features a variety of events and performances presented across the SSU campus in indoor theaters, classrooms, art galleries and outdoor site-specific events at bodies of water.

PARKING: Ives Hall is accessed through the main entrance to Sonoma State University. After entering the main entrance of Sonoma State University, turn right. Use LOT E to the left. Parking permits are required for all cars during posted hours Monday through Friday. Permits may be purchased daily from the vending machines located at the entrance to the general parking lots. Daily parking fee is $2.50. Visitor parking is only permitted in lots marked as ‘Non-Reserved.’

COST/TICKET PRICE: Free to $6.
Sonoma State University students admitted free to all performances. $6 standard admission.

- Petaluma Marsh Kayak Tour

Saturday, November 17, 2012, 1:00 pm 

Clavey Paddlesports, is providing single or tandem touring style kayaks for tours of the Petaluma marsh. They are appropriate for beginning paddlers. You also have the option of bringing your own kayak along, but there are some restrictions on the style and type. Please check with us prior to booking. Appropriate clothing required. Bring a lunch and water.

Price:  $90, includes kayak; $65, bring own kayak

- Upstairs Art Gallery features Carolyn Wilson

A Road Less Traveled: Watercolor exhibit by Carolyn Wilson

The Upstairs Art Gallery features an exhibition of watercolors by award-winning artist, Carolyn Wilson. Truly unique, Wilson’s paintings are a result of layers of translucent water colors and finely textured papers,
creating an effect unattainable with paint alone.

Owner Lara Apadoca has assembled a great collection of local and national artists at Finely Lara's Art and Jewelry Gallery.

Local talented painters Clay Vajgrt, Carl Downey, and others have their work on display daily and Clay Vajgrt is the gallerie's resident artist with his studio open to visit in the rear of the gallery. 

Amazing Glass art and glamorous yet down to earth jewelry will round out your aesthetic experience at Lara's.

It is open Wednesday-Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Sunday noon to 4 p.m. and also by appointment.
