L MEETS

Tonight's Sonoma City Council meeting may be a short one: the biggest item on the agenda is a report on the state budget's effect on redevelopment. The brings another delightful vintage film to Sonoma with Singin’ in the Rain. A light-hearted love story starring Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor and Debbie Reynolds. “The Economics of Happiness” is an eye-opening documentary showing the serious waste of globalization and the gaps in our economic thinking. The film looks at how “going local” can heal social problems and create a better future for everyone.  “The Economics of Happiness” plays at the (room 110) Thursday, April 21 at 7 p.m. , the film’s Sonoma sponsors, will provide light refreshments and an opportunity for discussion after the show.
