A “SPELLBINDING” FILM AT VINTAGE HOUSE

A documentary New York Magazine calls “spellbinding” and the Wall Street Journal says is “witty and metaphysical” plays at the, Tuesday, April 26. The award-winning film,"" by Scott Crocker, tells the story of what happens in a small Arkansas town when people start looking for the ivory-billed woodpecker. The show starts at 7 p.m. Seating is limited. Cost: $5.

Tuesday, April 26, at 7 p.m. presents Sonoma’s own discussing his new work, The Leadership Book: Stuff You Might Not Know that Could Save Your Butt in Tough Times .

On Thursday, April 28, former CNN and CNBC anchorman who has interviewed scores of famous individuals, puts successful human beings and politicians under the microscope. His book, The Good Among the Great, looks at what makes people admirable, creative and joyous. Van de Mark is also one of the founders of the MyPrimeTime, Inc., a personal development company based in San Francisco.  At Readers's Books, 7 p.m.

FUNDRAISER

Pets Lifeline will host “Tailwags and Handbags,” a ladies luncheon atrestaurant, Friday, April 29 from 12 – 2 p.m. The luncheon will feature a silent auction of more than fifty handbags--and just possibly--a large screen showing of the royal wedding. HOW TO PREPARE FOR AN EARTHQUAKE

April is a good time to be sure you’re prepared for earthquakes and other emergencies.  To help you prepare, the will be providing training through(Sonoma Citizens Organized to Prepare for Emergencies.) Friday, April 29 from 1 - 4 p.m. at the . This free training will include what to do before and after an earthquake, and provide other resources you’ll need in case of an emergency.
