This Week's Things to Do: April 11

Let's play ball! Warmer weather means more outdoor activities. Take part in a golf game, learn to play petanque or join a bocce ball league.

GOLF TOURNAMENT FOR

Take part in a putting contest or driving range practice when registration for The Faces of Change Golf Tournament opens this morning at 11 a.m. at the . The tournament begins at 1 p.m.; festivities continue with a champagne reception at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and a raffle at the Club. PETANQUE CLUB OFFERS FREE LESSONS

If you want to get some exercise while having fun, learn to play petanque. The Valley of the Moon Petanque Club is offering free lessons Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m., whenever the weather permits.  SONOMA BOCCE BALL LEAGUE STARTS WEDNESDAY

On Wednesday, April 13, the begins league play. Membership is $20 per person per year and is open to all. The Association holds three nine-week sessions during the season.
