BottleRock Napa Valley is Underway

Inaugural major music festival is here, with big-name bands on multiple stages from May 8 through May 12.

Napa Valley Patch extends a welcome to all the out-of-towners who have come to town for the first BottleRock Napa Valley.

"We hope you enjoy the blessings of Napa Valley -- great music, gourmet food, and, of course, world-class wine," says editor Keri Brenner.

The festival begins today, Wednesday, with a handful of bands this evening. A full line-up of music begins Thursday and continues through Sunday.

Headliners at BottleRock include the Kings of Leon, the Black Keys, Zac Brown Band, Ben Harper and Charlie Musselwhite, Primus, the Shins, Train, the Alabama Shakes, Jackson Brown and many others.
