A Laura Ingalls Wilder Christmas

J Love Productions and the Nicholson Ranch Players present A LAURA INGALLS CHRISTMAS at the Nicholson Ranch, 4200 Napa Road in Sonoma, Dec. 1, 2, 3 at 7pm and December 4 at 3pm. Tickets are available at Tiddle E. Winks in Sonoma, and in the tasting room at Nicholson Ranch.

This touching tale, written by Laura Brooks, deals with the two years of the Ingalls saga that writer Laura Ingalls Wilder chose to leave out of her original Little House on the Prairie series. Told with period songs, humor and depth, A Laura Ingalls Wilder Christmas tells a story of healing that celebrates the importance of enduring family bonds. The cast includes Ann Peterson, Jerry Bruno, and Luba Markoff. The children are played by Adrienne Valavanis,  Maia Reilly, Kamryn Conway,  Nell Sheridan, Megan Dewees, and Oliver French.

This production comes to the Sonoma stage with a special twist. The director, popular local actress Kathryn Del Chiaro, is the great grand daughter of the youngest of the Ingalls family, Carrie.  According to Del Chiaro, "It is truly an honor to be the director of this project and to work with such a fine spunky cast!  We are capturing some of our nations pioneering yesterdays, recorded by my descendants. It's a thrill!"

Tickets are $16.00 for adults, $12.00 for those under 18 or over 65. For more details call the Nicholson Ranch at (707) 938-8822, Tiddle E Winks at 707.939.6933 or Jaime Love at 707 363 8721.
