Songwriters In Sonoma

Thursday, August 18th, at 7 p.m. our monthly songwriters show will feature the talents of Tony Gibson, Trent Yaconelli and back by popular demand, Jon Williams!

After six years in Los Angeles working on the label side of the record industry Tony Gibson took up his guitar and rediscovered his passion for playing in front of audiences. His inspiration comes from love, hate, relationships, introspection and crime. He's releasing is solo CD this fall.

As a member of the locally acclaimed band Five A.M., Trent Yaconelli could be called a jack of all trades. He not only performs as a singer and songwriters but he's a soup chef, a tour bus fixer, in additional to being a husband and father of two youngs sons. Trent grew up in Yreka as the son of a preacher, so naturally he chose a career in rock 'n' roll. His music has been featured in films and televisionas well as making the Billboard charts. His current solo CD, Birdwings, was released in June.

Jon Williams, who performed during our first Songwriters event in January, will serenade us once again. As the frontman for Ten Foot Tone, Jon puts pure heart and soul into every performance. He's certainly one of Sonoma Valley's most creative songwriters and brings a uniquely intense playing style to his creative storytelling lyrics.

Songwriters In Sonoma is hosted each month by Gerard Serafini of Sonoma Valley Music and sponsored by MusicNomad.com.

Tickets are $15 per person and include your first glass of wine. Local artisan cheese and charcuterie plates will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Reservations are recommended and may be made by calling the tasting room 707-934-4090.
