The Prima Trio

The award-winning Prima Trio returns to Sonoma with a program of traditional and contemporary works in concert at , on Saturday, April 16, at 3:00 pm.  Sponsored by the Sonoma Classical Music Society, the Trio will feature works of Antonio Lotti, Darius Milhaud, Srul Irving Glick, Robert Schumann, Astor Piazzolla, and a rousing finale by Peter Schickele, aka PDQ Bach.  Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for members of the Society, $10 for students, and are available on the Society’s website, www.sonomaclassical.org., from Reader’s Books and Pharmaca approximately three weeks before the concert, and at the door.

The Trio’s eclectic program includes Antonio Lotti’s Trio for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano; Darius Milhaud’s Suite for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano, Op. 157b, Srul Irving Glick’sThe Klezmer’s Wedding -- Trio for clarinet, violin, and piano; Robert Schumann’s Fairy Tales; Astor Piazzolla’s Oblivion and Otono Porteno,  and Peter Schickele’s Serenade for Three.
