Trains and Tourism subject of May 18 talk

Trains and tourism in Sonoma County are the subjects of the May speaker at the Sonoma Valley Historical Society.  Dr. Chrles Siebenthal, president of the Northwestern Pacific Railroad Historical Society will speak on the importance of trains and tourism in Sonoma County (focusing mainly on areas closer to the coast).  The attraction of pleasant weather, resorts and beautiful natural resources in Sonoma County to the residents of San Francisco started the business of tourism which has existed to the present time.

The talk is at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 18, at the Depot Park Museum, which is one block north of the Sonoma Plaza.  Admission is free and for further details contact 938-1762.
