Vox Populi, Sonoma’s own rock and roll choir, accompanied by Plan Be, one of Sonoma’s hottest bands, returns to the historic Sebastiani Theatre on Monday, June 13 at 7:30p and the beautiful Throckmorton Theater in Mill Valley on Sunday, June 26.  They will be performing the songs of multiple Grammy winner and Hall of Famer Paul Simon as well as songs by Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell, and Crosby, Stills, and Nash.  Vox Populi’s performance last year of Abbey Road was a sell-out at both the Sebastiani Theatre as well as the Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley.  Tickets are $12 for the Sonoma show and can be purchased at Tiddle E Winks and the Sebastiani Theatre.  Tickets are $18 general admission, $21general admission day of the show, and $25 advanced at the Throckmorton Theater and can be purchased on line at http://142throckmorton.inticketing.com/events or by phone at 415-383-9600  .  Get your tickets early because the show is sure to sell out.

Formed in 2007, Vox Populi is the brainchild of local musician, Mark Dennis.  The number of choir members has swelled to over 70 fun-loving, talented singers who perform multi-harmony versions of well-known rock and roll songs. Their powerful performance with sweet harmonies and memorable tunes have brought both smiles and tears to sold –out audiences for a number of years. Come join the fun!
