Luna Itzel Gives Voice to Mexico's Music

Interpreter of traditional and original music of Mexico will perform at Centre du Vin Friday

Start the Cinco De Mayo weekend at the Centre du Vin French Bistro with a live performance from Mexican performer Luna Itzel.

Luna Itzel has been among the most beautiful and expressive voices on Mexico’s contemporary music scene since her first recordings in 1997. Ten years later she first brought her talents to the stage in the United States, and since then has broadened her appeal and recognition.

During her 16-year career, spread over seven CDs and many international stages, Itzel has explored a variety of musical styles, from Mexican Pop to Boleros to the rhythmic Huapango.
