Gee, will it be Life of Pi, Lincoln, Argo, Les Miserables...
What a line-up for the 2013 Academy Awards.
While the world watches who goes down the red carpet, Sonoma will have its own social gathering—the Sonoma Film Society's Academy Awards Watching Party. It's billed as a Premium Lounge Event, with live music, food and wine pairings, a 25 x 20 screen, surround sound and cocktails to liven things up.
Or, guests can watch more intently in "the quiet room."
Doors open at 3:30 p.m. for red carpet coverage on Sunday at Hanna Boys Center, 17000 Arnold Drive. Tickets are $150 or free for Film Society Producer Members.

Remember, coming up in just a few weeks is the Sonoma International Film Festival (April 10-14) featuring more than 90 movies, including independent features, documentaries, world cinema, shorts and Spanish language films. All films are shown at venues near the Plaza.
In the past, celebrities such as Bruce Willis, Susan Sarandon, Robin Williams and Danny Glover have attended the festival, according to the Society's website.
The 5-day event offers cuisine from local artisans and wine from Sonoma vintners.
The movie only pass is $160, premiere pass $360 and star pass $810
