Miniature works of art – dubbed 'Art Cards' – will sell at the Sonoma Valley Museum of ARt for the affordable price of $49 per card. The catch? None of the art is labeled.

 

Shoppers still in the market for a one-of-a-kind holiday gift: look no further than the 's Art Card sale.

Miniature works of art – dubbed 'Art Cards' – created by artists such as Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Keith Wicks, and Ann Jones and friends of the museum will sell for the affordable price of $49 per card. The catch? None of the art is labeled.

"[The artist] might be a high school student or a nationally recognized artist," said Lance Walker, the museum's marketing manager. 

Buyers will be informed of the artist's identity after they purchase, and, either way, go home with a unique holiday gift which benefits the museum. (That's what we call a win-win.)

Art Cards are baseball card–sized works, each in its own protective sleeve.

The museum has commissioned over 220 of the mini-works, which will be on display on Dec. 10 from 5 - 7 p.m.
