If variety is the spice of life, there was plenty of spice at Transcendence Theatre's show "What a Wonderful World" on Thursday night.
The show is part of the non-profit company's inaugural summer series at Jack London State Historic Park. A portion of the proceeds are designated to in the wake of state budget cuts.
Judy Garland and Cole Porter fans will hear some of their favorites in the show, and there are songs from "Oklahoma" and "My Fair Lady."
"What a Wonderful World" runs through Saturday night and again Aug. 24-26.
The final event by the group this summer is a gala celebration on Sept. 1, entitled "One Day More."
Guests can picnic on the park grounds from 5 p.m. onward. The show begins at 8 p.m. The gala show will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The park is at 2400 London Ranch Road, Glen Ellen.
Take a jacket or blanket in case of cooler evenings.
