The Ledson Hotel is pleased to announce the November music line-up for the newly remodeled Centre du Vin. The centre du vin has a full bar and a selection of Ledson and Zina Hyde Cunningham wines as well as other selections from local Sonoma Valley wineries to chose from experiencing the best the historic Sonoma Plaza has to offer in live music and fine dining experiences.
Jess Petty plays trumpet and fluglehorn, and sings in a strong jazz vocal style that is his own, and is considered a world-class musician. He began his musical career in the Monterey Bay area, gigging with other musicians, and studying with Bud Clooney, a great trumpeter with the Harry James band. He was the featured singer with the Hamilton Air Force Band, and shortly became the featured singer with the prestigious Airmen Of Note in Washington, D.C. After discharge, he headed his own groups, playing Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, and other venues. He has worked with Madeline Eastman, Terry Henry, Rex Allen, and the late Bob Lucas, to name a few. Petty will be in a duo performing at Centre du Vin on Saturday, November 5 from 6:30 to 9:30 PM and a solo performance on Saturday, November 19 also from 6:30 to 9:30 PM.
