What a special night we're planning to honor the great Texas songwriters. Texas is a very large state and for years has produced numerous songwriters and singers from every walk of life. You'll hear songs by such iconic writers as Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Townes Van Zandt, Kris Kristofferson, Billy Joe Shaver, Mickey Newberry, Lyle Lovett, Rodney Crowell, Guy Clark, Bob Wills, Ray Benson and many others will be performed by an all-star ensemble headed up by Sonoma’s Adam Traum. “There are so many great Texas songwriters that the show might go on all night long,” said Adam Traum. “Once the word got out about this show, all of my musician buddies wanted in on the action. I’ve got a couple of friends who are trying to get out of gigs that have been already booked to play this show. It’s going to be a great night of music right here in Sonoma.”
The ever expanding line up of musicians and performers includes Tony Robinson on bass, Kurt Huget on acoustic and electric guitars as well as mandolin, Michael Yonchenko on harmonica, Liz Brown on vocals, David Thom on guitar, Tom Wright on vocals and guitar, and Sean Carscaden on guitar. The sound will be provided by Gerard Serafini of Sonoma Valley Music.
