Introducing: 'Sonoma Valley Reserve' Winery Tours

A new tour opens up Sonoma Valley's "hidden gems" to wine aficionados.

Sonoma Valley Reserve, a new winery tour set for May 14 and 15, encourages participants discover "hidden gems" of the Sonoma Valley through a behind-the-scenes view of wine production.

The tours - which include transportation, a picnic lunch made by Sage Catering and admission to a special marketplace of hard-to-find "reserve" bottles - focus on four off-the-beaten track wineries.

All Access Tour: The Sonoma Valley insiders experience features "exclusive" destinations, which are usually open by appointment only, including Loxton Cellars, GlenLyon Vineyards & Winery

Family Winery Tour: Meet the family-owned wineries behind the Sonoma Valley wine-making style, including Larson Family Winery, Mulas Family Vineyards and Robledo Family Winery.

Sustainable Farming and Winemaking Tour: Tour the winegrowers who are using traditional farming and harvesting methods for organic results. Tours include Bartholomew Park Winery, Canihan Family Vineyards and Kaz Vineyard & Winery.
