Parking Update During Hospital Renovations

The hospital's new main entrance for patient drop-off is on Bettencourt Street. Visitor and outpatient parking is on 4th Street West and Andrieux Street.

With construction already under way for Sonoma Valley Hospital’s new wing, recent parking and traffic changes have made accessibility confusing for patients and visitors alike.

The new main entrance driveway is located on Bettencourt Street. Accessible from this driveway is a patient drop-off zone next to the main entrance canopy and handicapped parking.

A security staff member is available with a wheelchair at the patient drop-off zone to assist patients and caregivers. The patient drop-off zone can be used for loading and unloading at any time but is staffed only during the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

There are two visitor and outpatient parking lots available: one directly across from the hospital on 4th Street West and one on the north side of Andrieux Street diagonally across from the hospital. Two-hour on-street parking is available around the hospital on Bettencourt, 4th Street West, and Andrieux Street. The Emergency Room parking lot remains available directly in front of the Emergency Room with the entrance on the south side of Andrieux Street between 3rd Street and 4th Street West.

In order to maximize adjacent visitor parking, all hospital staff now park in an employee parking lot south of the hospital on 4th Street West, according to a news release.
