Autumn in Sonoma, the Prettiest Time of Year

Fall leaves in Sonoma Valley vineyards and all over the city of Sonoma make the area especially beautiful to visit in November.

You can't miss them driving down Highway 12—those red, golden and flaming orange leaves. Rows and rows of them in the vineyards, set against the backdrop of Sonoma mountain, with an occasional white farmhouse.

In the city of Sonoma, the historic city hall and its pond in the Plaza are framed by golden trees. The historic Carnegie Library brick building that houses the Visitors Bureau is accentuated by a camellia bush covered in red. A bright red tree sets on fire an entire neighborhood.

Welcome to autumn in Sonoma, where you might even find clusters of grapes fallen in a public parking lot. Enjoy this Patch photo gallery and please feel free to add your own shots.
