Sonoma Young Professionals form a networking power lunch series, featuring innovators from the region

 

The face of Sonoma industry isn't usually a twenty-something, or thirty-something entrepreneur. But, maybe it should be?

Sonoma Young Professionals, the youth-centric advisory board for the , has, in recent years been a sleepy subgroup. But no longer.

The organization has ramped up, forming a formal advisory group and setting a series of power lunches designed to allow community leaders to impart knowledge to group.

The first of these 'SYP Power Lunches' is already slated for June 7, at the . The first speaker will be : In his early thirties, Sebastiani has already served on city council, worked in the family business and founded Mia's Kitchen, a gourmet prepared food company.

The lunch starts at noon and costs $30 for Chamber members, $45 for the general public. Future power lunches, including one with Girl and the Fig founder Sondra Bernstein are already in planning stages.
