New Sonoma Valley Community Health Center facility opens to patients
Clinic move is complete; patients returned Tuesday for healthcare services
The Sonoma Valley Community Health Center (SVCHC) opened its new facility doors Tuesday at 19270 Sonoma Highway to welcome patients to the newly expanded facility with over 18,000 square feet of medical space. Less than one week after closing the facility to accommodate the move, the new clinic is now open to provide expanded healthcare services to the Sonoma Valley community. The beautiful new state-of-the art clinic to is located directly across from Maxwell Village and the Breakaway Café.

With the main wing of the clinic now open, patients will experience the same high-quality patient care experience, which they are accustomed, in the comfort of the newly expanded space. The new Sonoma Valley Community Health Center includes:
- Family Practice Clinic with 15 exam rooms
- Obstetrics & Specialty Services wing with five exam rooms
- Behavioral Health Services Center with three consulting rooms
- Community Education Center with two classrooms
- New laboratory space
- Administrative offices
In addition, the new facility will include a Dental Clinic with six dental operatories and enhanced dental services. The Dental Clinic and its expanded services are scheduled to become available in early September.

The new Sonoma Valley Community Health Center hours are as follows:
Primary CareMonday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Behavioral Health
Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sundays and Holidays:CLOSED
The new clinic facility was made possible in part by funding granted through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), as well as generous donations to the ‘Building the Future’ capital campaign. With Phase I complete, the SVCHC staff continues to seek support for the $5 million capital campaign. A complete list of donors can be found on the SVCHC website, www.svchc.org.
The Sonoma Valley Community Health Center Board of Directors will schedule and host a Grand Opening celebration in September 2014. The ceremony will officially commemorate the opening of the new clinic with the Sonoma Valley community and recognize the generous donors responsible for providing funding support for the new facility.
