Green Flash Brewing Company Beer Dinner at HopMonk Tavern Sebastopol
You have to be in the right place at the right time to experience the Green Flash effect - it’s illusive, but real. Attending this beer dinner will assure you of being in the right time and place - culinarily speaking - for a unique winter season menu from Chef Billy Reid paired with remarkable ales from one of San Diego’s finest and fastest growing breweries. Green Flash ales offer subtle and complex variations of traditional styles. We’re very excited to have Dave in house to ‘taste and tell’.
The menu for the evening includes:

Mike and Lisa Hinkley took their interest in the craft beer industry to a new level in 2002 when they founded Green Flash Brewing Company (www.greenflashbrew.com). Former pub owners, Mike and Lisa jumped into brewing, and in 2004 renowned brewmaster Chuck Silva joined the team. With Chuck on board they began brewing premium style beers, modern twists on traditional styles, and their beers began to develop a following. Cutting edge brews, Green Flash Brewing Company’s beers don’t fit traditional guidelines, instead they let their hybrid, benchmark beers blaze their own trail. Located in San Diego, CA, they specialize in brewing assertive and distinctive beers, such as their West Coast I.P.A.: an award-winning beer whose wide acceptance has helped define a category. They also brew seasonal, collaborative and barrel-aged beers.
HopMonk Tavern serves 18 premier American craft and international draft beers, including two on cask. The eclectic tavern menu features grass fed beef, curried samosas, fresh mussels, slow roasted pulled pork and popular fish and chips.
