Kindergarten Information Night 2014

The Sonoma Valley Unified School District (www.svusdca.org) and the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation (www.svgreatschools.org) are hosting Kindergarten Information Night 2014 on January 22, 2014 at Altimira Middle School, 17805 Arnold Drive. All parents of preschool aged children are welcome to attend this informative and valuable presentation on Sonoma Valley's public schools, and to enjoy the opportunity to mix and mingle with other parents, educators, and students.

“Kindergarten Night is a wonderful opportunity that provides parents with information about the Sonoma Valley public schools and creates that important first touch with parents,” noted SVUSD Superintendent Louann Carlomagno, “And just as important, this event is designed to provide valuable information on the successful SVUSD kindergarten model aimed at meeting the needs of each child in a safe, nurturing and inspiring academic environment.”  To help make the Kindergarten Information Night event accessible for all parents, childcare will be provided.

The schedule for the evening is as follows:
6pm – 7pm: Presentation in English
7pm - 7:30pm:  Mix and mingle with our elementary school principals, teachers, students, and other prospective parents. Light appetizers by the Sonoma Valley High School culinary program and performance by El Verano Glee
