Friday, February 14 (7:30) –Hailed by the New York Times as one of the artists at the forefront of the neo-folk movement, The Duhks (pronounced Ducks) have won admirers as diverse as David Crosby, Dolly Parton, and Doc Watson. This isn’t surprising, given the blend of soul, gospel, North American folk, Brazilian samba, old-time country string-band music, zydeco and Irish dance music, and the attack the band brings to these interwoven acoustic styles. A syncopated bluesy banjo number seamlessly follows a Brazilian samba; an old-time jaunt nestles comfortably next to a gospel performance by vocalist Jesse Havey – her soulful voice piercing like the heart tattoo on her chest.

Saturday, February 15 (7:30) – As an artist, Jaime Kyle does it all.  So says Mark Hudson: "To me, she's a triple threat: she writes, she sings, AND she's beautiful!"  Jaime Kyle's recordings have been featured in many movies and her songs and/or recorded performances represent an accumulated sale of an amazing 19 million CDs.  About her music, Jaime has said:  "I am in love with melodies, music and lyrics of all styles, but you really get to know me when you listen to my music.  My lyrics reveal my intimate thoughts and feelings." Jamie Kyle will be performing with Dave Jenkins, the lead guitarist and vocalist for Pablo Cruise.
