Back-to-Back Spare the Air Days
A Spare the Air Health Alert has been declared for Tuesday.
The Bay Area Air Quality Management District issued the sixth Spare the Air Health Alert for Tuesday. This marks the first back-to-back Spare the Air day this summer, according to the agency.
"Tomorrow, we are again forecasting unhealthy concentrations of smog,” said Jack Broadbent, executive officer of the Air District said in a press release.
“With temperatures continuing to run high, it’s more important than ever that residents drive less, take public transportation, reduce energy use and do their part to minimize pollution."
