Fog Causes Delays at SFO

Arrivals from other West Coast cities affected

Fog is causing delays for flights arriving at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) from airports on the West Coast this morning, an airport duty manager said.

The delays, which will affect flights arriving from less than 1,600 miles away, are expected to be an average of 79 minutes and could be as long as 152 minutes.

The delays for arriving flights could have a residual effect on flights departing from the airport this morning as well. Airport officials suggest that travelers check with their carriers before arriving at the airport for any delays or cancellations.
