Safari-Themed Sonoma Bash Supports Local Group

A costumed West African dance company performance and wild animals highlight "Noche Out of Africa." The event benefits La Luz Center.

A safari-inspired party in Sonoma next month will raise money for a local nonprofit group.

"Noche Out of Africa,” will be held on Aug. 3 at Jack London State Historical Park.

The 6:30 p.m. event will support La Luz Center, a Sonoma-based group that provides services including education and medical care to those in need and contributes to the community's cultural enrichment.

The event will feature Lyons Ranch animals, "sundowner" cocktails, and entertainment including  a costumed West African dance company performance.

Tickets are $175 per person and can be purchased at La Luz’s website (LALUZCENTER.ORG)  or by calling the Noche Hotline at (707) 938-5010.
