The New York Times trailer is interesting in a number of ways. One thing that stood out is the age of the various reporters---there do not seem to be any young ones. Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein were only 29 and 28 respectively when they broke the Watergate story for the Washington Post where both had been working for some time. On line newspapers such as Sonoma Patch are the "new" journalism and bring new voices and ideas to us.

I agree with Albert. The New York Times trailer shows us a paper run by older people. Perhaps if they brought more young blood to the press, the way it was years ago, they would attract more young readers who are the readers of the future. Though much as I love to turn the pages of a newspaper, even I have taken to reading on line journalism regularly.
