Russian-American pianist Anastasia Dedik returns to Sonoma on Sunday, April 13, 2014, when she performs in
concert at Vintage House Sonoma, 264 First Street East, at 3:00 pm.
This Sunday, she will perform an all-Russian program, featuring the Summer Fairy from Prokofiev’s
ballet “Cinderella,” Rachmaninov’s Etude-Tableaux op. 33 in e-flat minor and Op. 39 in F sharp minor, selections from Mikhel Pletnev’s arrangement
of Tchaikovsky’ The Nutcracker, and after
intermission, Moussorgsky’s monumental Pictures at an Exhibition, originally written for
piano.
Tickets for this concert, sponsored by the Sonoma
Classical Music Society, are $25 for adults, $20 for members of the Society, and $10 for students, and may be obtained from www.sonomaclassical.org; from Readers Books, Pharmaca, Vintage House, and at the door.
