CLINE CELLAR-BRATION NOV. 23 & 24: WINE-AND-FOOD PAIRINGS, GIFT SHOPPING

Start the holiday season on a high note Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 24 & 25 at Cline Cellars with wine tasting, food, gift shopping, and entertainment.

The Cline Cellar-bration—from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, will feature wine pairings and recipes with dishes from culinary superstars the girl and the fig. Harissa-rubbed pork tenderloin with crispy potato coins, grilled steak skewers with piperade sauce, and duck liver mousse with brioche toast and cherry rosemary compote will be paired with selected Zinfandels and Rhone-style Cline Cellars varietals.

For those seeking an early start to holiday shopping, popular vendors will be offering their wares on both days. Glittering goodness from LaLa Jewelry, glass grandeur from artist Mark Schatz, scintillating seasonings from Sinful Salts, and delicious dips from Terripen Ridge.

Admission to the event is free. Wine and food pairing is $5 for the general public, and free to club members.

As always, the tasting room staff will be on hand to pour free samples of the Cline Cellars varietals, which have garnered countless awards and received the praises of Robert Parker and other wine gurus.

Cline Cellars is located at the gateway to Carneros Valley, 24737 Arnold Dr., Sonoma. For more information on this event, please contact Jim Caroompas at (707) 940-4082.
