Cooking Class: Biodynamic Bees & Bee Culture

Please join Ramekins as we welcome Michael Thiele, founder of Gaia Bees and co-founder of Healdsburg’s very own“The Melissa Garden,” one of the first bee sanctuaries in the country. He comes to Ramekins to discuss the importance of bees to agriculture, food production and our world. Michael will guide you through a local honey tasting before exploring the cooking properties of bee products. Our chefs will assist him in experimenting with fermented bee pollen, propolis and beeswax, and you will get to taste the results. Don’t’ miss the chance to learn about these amazing and important creatures.
