Depot Park Museum hosts Vintage Festival exhibit

The Sonoma Valley Historical Society's Depot Park Museum has opened an exhibit to honor the Vintage Festival and the people who work so hard to organize it.  The festival is held annually the last weekend of September.  The exhibit, which opens Friday, August 9, will be open through October 6.   The exhibit showcases many years of festival posters, booklets, newspaper articles and photos.  It is a fascinating look back in time.  The organizing committee for 1949 lists many familiar names such as Emparan and Batto, among others.  Admission is free and the Depot Park Museum (located one block north of the Plaza)is open Friday, Sat., and Sun. from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  For further information, contact Sandi Hansen, 938-1762.
