Fundraiser to Benefit Judy Baker, Wellness Warrior
Gratitude Gumbo and Appreciation Pie Fundraiser Slated for March 8
Help save a life. Please join Judy and Garry Baker for
an afternoon of food, drink, music, a silent auction, a
pie contest, friendship, and fun. Support Wellness
Warrior, Judy Baker, as she conquers peritoneal
cancer. Proceeds will help cover out-of-pocket
medical expenses that are adding up fast.

Following the generous outpouring of support at their January Red Beans and Rice Benefit, the Bakers are
doing it again! Come to the Sonoma Valley Women's Club, 574 1st Street East, Sonoma, CA 95476.
Saturday, March 8, 2014, 3–6 pm.
Garry Baker and friends will be cooking up Cajun love in the form of Gratitude Gumbo, Delightful Dirty
Rice, Appreciation Pie, Radical Self-care Red Velvet Cake, Happiness Hush Puppies, and Rocking
Recognition Ribs for your gustatory delight.
The event includes an Appreciation Pie Contest. Pies can be any kind: savory, sweet, fried, baked, no-bake,
your imagination is your guide.

There will be a Silent Auction with donations from local business and individuals, including a one-night stay
in a suite at MacArthur Place valued at $450, courtesy of Suzanne Brangham. Performers include members
of the Transcendence Theatre Company, Elaine Lucia, the Davidjohn Quartet featuring Ed Dufault, Paula
Szoka on piano, and members of Vox Populi.
