Kids' Day at the Wine Country 'Ukulele Festival in St. Helena

Round up the kiddies, young and old and young-at-heart, for a very special morning at the Wine Country 'Ukulele Festival, courtesy of Umpqua Bank!

From 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, on Sunday, September 8, Heidi Swedberg will be on stage at the Wine Country 'Ukulele Festival to entertain and educate the kids with her oft-times wild and zany antics...but always great music!

In addition, to Heidi's show on Sunday morning, there will be opportunities to win 'ukuleles, performances by local kids' groups, a free panel discussion for teachers on how to start an ukulele program at your school or youth group, and  free lessons for kids and grown-ups. . .so if you have an 'ukulele laying around the house, be sure to bring it.  (If you don't...we will have some loaners available.)  And if you'd like to take a workshop while Heidi entertains the kids, you can register for one now. We'll also have free workshops for super beginners...the kind that have never picked up an 'ukulele before .

Admission to the festival is free!

Kid's Day begins at 11:00 a.m. and ends at 1:00 p.m.....but you might as well stick around for more great performances focusing on the music and dance of Hawai'i.
