Lynn Downey to speak about her book at Depot Park Museum

On Friday, February 14 at 2 p.m., Author Lynn Downey will make a presentation. The lecture will take place at the Depot Park Museum, one block north of the Sonoma Plaza.  Ms. Downey, a fifth-generation Sonoman, is an historian and research with Levi Strauss & Co in San Francisco.  She has published numerous books and articles on the West.  Among them, "A Short History of Sonoma", has recently been published.  She will discuss some of the interesting research that she has done, and recollections by old-time Sonoma residents, as well.  The book is available for sale in the museum bookshop.  For further information, please call the Depot Park Museum at 938-1762.  Admission is free.
