Sonoma Community Shred Day Oct. 9: Benefit Local Schools and Shred Unwanted Documents,

Bank
of Marin in Sonoma will host its first annual “Shred Day” on Wednesday, October
9 at the Bank of Marin Sonoma branch located at 136 W. Napa Street from 9 am –
12 noon. The popular event supports local recycling efforts and schools in Sonoma,
with donations of new school supplies. The Bank will match donations with a $1,000
contribution to the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation.

At
the event, A&P Records Management will be on site to shred paper documents,
with a five box limit per participant. All documents are securely destroyed and
the paper pulp will be recycled and used for new paper goods.

The
community is encouraged to bring at least one package of new school supplies for students and teachers such as pens,
pencils, crayons, paper, glue, and notebooks.
