"The Sunset Limited" is about two very different men who sit in a tenement apartment - a black ex-con who claims to hear the voice of God, and the white professor he stopped from throwing himself in front of an oncoming train. What follows is a philosophical debate: Can the back man convince the white man that life is worth living. Souls are bared and secrets shared with the black man's faith increasingly shattered and the white man's meticulously reasoned view of the world gone wrong.
Directed by Butch Engle and performed by Cameron Stuckey and Butch Engle.
Admission is $14. Tickets are for sale at the svbo.org website, by calling 938-4626, ext. 1, or at the door the evening of the performance.
