Wine Country Film Festival

Wine Country Film Festival
is nearly here!  Sonoma’s premier
film festival kicks off next week on September 25 and runs through September
29.

This cinematic feast is an
eclectic five-day celebration of cinema, the arts, cultural exchange, wine and
food.  Film and wine lovers unite
in this celebration of all things arts and Sonoma.  Films screen outdoors at Deerfield
Ranch Winery
, indoors at
Deerfield’s Grand Tasting Room Cave Theatre, and at other nearby venues throughout the Sonoma Valley.  Guests will be
treated with rarely seen films, even rarer live performances, premium wines,
gourmet food trucks and so much more.

The festival kicks off at
Deerfield Ranch Winery with a night dedicated to the Arts in Film, with a touch of Eco
Cinema. The night begins in the Deerfield Ranch wine cave with a showing of A
Portrait of Artist Adam Shaw
by John Knoop, and includes a showing of Bittersweet, by
Peter Bicknell & Andrew Kappel, about the Fair Trade cocoa growers of
Ghana. Deerfield Ranch winemaker Robert Rex will delight your senses with his
famous chocolate truffles paired with succulent Syrah. Finally, the evening
wraps up outdoors in the ‘Al Fresco Cinema™’ to see the feature presentation The Artist and the Model by Oscar
winner Fernando Trueba.
