Editor 'En Route' to New Zealand but Patch Stays Local
Julie Pendray will attend to personal business in "The Land of the Long, White Cloud" and will return for Fall colors.
In true tag-team fashion, Christian Kallen is back in Sonoma to take Patch into October, while I make my way across the Pacific to my homeland of New Zealand.
Personal business has drawn me there unexpectedly. I plan to be back in about a month.
Many of you will remember Christian from June and July, when he manned the helm until my arrival here from a Patch in San Diego county.

I apologize for leaving after just a few weeks in Sonoma; however, a loved one Down Under needs my assistance.

In the meantime, don't move that dial because you may just hear me on Ken Brown's "" on KSVY Internet radio. Ken has invited me to call in from New Zealand.
Even though the world is a big place, we are always just one phone call away.
In the meantime, it dawned on me that many of you have never actually seen my face, except peering at you in those Patchy lime green sunglasses from the top of the website! So here's a photo taken of me while exploring Sonoma County's coastline soon after my arrival here. It was taken near Goat Rock Beach. Someone had crafted an amazing work of art in true Robinson Crusoe style. I call this shot Le Penseur.
Enjoy the Crush and the changing leaves and I will see you again in beautiful Sonoma in October.
A bientot.
Julie
