Sonoma Theatre Alliance announces Festival of Theatre 2014

Theatre with a heart, in the heart of town presents
season of eight stage productions presented from April to November

SONOMA, CA  - The Sonoma Theatre Alliance, a consortium of North Bay based theater companies, announces its Festival of Theatre 2014 presented April to November, 2014 at the newly remodeled Rotary Stage at Andrews Hall, located at the Sonoma Community Center in downtown Sonoma, CA. The STA season features eight stage productions offering a wide spectrum of theater entertainment.
 
The season begins in April with the Narrow Way Stage Company production of “Little Shop of Horrors” presented April 17 to May 4 and continues with the M & G Productions presentation of “Painting Churches,” from May 15 to May 25; the ETC! production of “The Full Monty,” from June 7 to June 29; the Sonoma Stage Works production of “The Many Faces of Love,” an evening of one acts from July 10 to July 27; the Narrow Way Stage Company production of a new original play “Alice: The Rebellion of Wonderland,” from Aug. 7 to Aug. 24; the ETC! production of “A Modern Encounter,” from Sept. 4 to Sept. 21; the Silver Moon Theatre production of “Dracula,” from Oct. 16 to Nov. 2; and the Martin Productions presentation of “Hearts on the Line,” a new musical workshop presented Nov. 13 to Nov. 30.
 
The Rotary Stage at Andrews Hall is located at the Sonoma Community Center. The 100-year old Greek Revival landmark is at 276 East Napa Street, Sonoma, CA, conveniently within walking distance from Sonoma Plaza with its acclaimed restaurants, wine shops and boutiques. The community center offers ample free parking.

A beautiful gilded proscenium frames The Rotary Stage at Andrews Hall, which also features comfortable mezzanine seating, concessions and lounge area, air conditioning and box office services. Recent venue improvements include acoustical treatments, audio and visual systems and upgrades for improving overall theatrical production values.

Sonoma Theatre Alliance Festival of Theatre 2014 tickets are available for purchase with options of “Season Patron Pass” for admission to all eight productions for $175 per person or “Thrifty Thursday Pass” for admission to all eight productions on Thursday nights for $145 per person. Season subscribers receive a 20% discount over single ticket purchasing prices, date flexibility, reserved seating and a complimentary beverage at each show.

Filled with music evoking 1960s rock and roll, doo-wop and early Motown music, this cult classic musical follows down and out floral assistant Seymour who becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. The plant grows larger, offering Seymour fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite. Presented by Narrow Way Stage Company in association with The Sonoma Theatre Alliance.
