Ken Brown Drops Radio Show, Remains as Mayor
Ken Brown, the long-time Sonoma City Council member and current Mayor, is slimming down his workload.
An announcement yesterday on the Sonoma Valley Sun website says he will step down as host of the KSVY FM (SunFM) Morning Show, which currently airs from 8 - 10 a.m. weekdays.
“It’s been a wonderful five years,” said Brown, “but with my daughter entering middle school next year, I need to shift my focus. I love the radio station and will remain involved with KSVY, booking guests and helping in other areas, too.”
The Morning Show, now from 8 to 10 a.m., will change to the 7 to 9 a.m. slot on June 1. There was no indication of who the host will, but Brown confirmed on his radio program this morning that he would continue to "do the booking" for the show.
"It's been over five years - a perfect fit for me," he said.
Who do you think will take over as host of "The Morning Show"?
