Are the wingnuts going to continue to run this place?

New management is on the way for the Patch. The question is, will the same three or four cult wingnuts be allowed to continue to hijack what should be an open community news source? These people have been dominating the posts and blogs for quite a while now, the result being few people in the Sonoma valley contribute any more and the Sonoma Patch has become an echo chamber for for this clubby group. Almost nobody takes the Sonoma Patch seriously anymore. Insults rule when anyone posts an opinion that doesn't support the position of the dominant wingnuts. And now rumor has it one of these wingnuts may become editor. The question to Hale Global is, do you want the Patch to be known as balanced news source or just a place for the left wing version of Faux News? Do you want community input or just a small circle of friends' echo chamber? Now is the time for change. You hold the key, Hale Global.
