The family-run, locally founded chain offers one of the most flexible dining selections for kids. The boisterous (read, family friendly) downtown location offers eat-in or take-out options, including online ordering if you're particularly frazzled.

Once you're there, kids can choose from a real kids menu. The budget friendly options range from $3.50 to $7, and include classic youth-centric grub such as a 'Bambino Cheese Pizza' or 'Nonny's Pasta' – a choose your own adventure style pasta and sauce, topped off with garlic bread.

Families choose from the varied adult-friendly items. The menu boasts: "Each item is made to order and there are no heat lamps, frozen dough or canned sauces."
