Darius/Maldonado Casino Past

"like the ceiling can't hold us"
"like the ceiling can't hold us"
The Index-Tribune Editor is very concerned about the minimum wage. At least that's what he wants you to believe because it has the tendency to humanize him and by proxy his boss, Darius Anderson. But the facts do not jive with his new op-ed.

This is germane because Mr. Anderson leads the newspaper ownership group and Kenwood Investments who promised to pay a living wage to workers to entice voters to approve their disruptive Chateau Sonoma plan by voting against the recent hotel limitation measure.

The truth is that despite a very vocal pre-Measure B election outcry by many to make public the so-called "living wage agreement" between Lisa Maldnado of the North Bay Labor Council and Anderson's Kenwood Investments no such disclosure has been forthcoming.

Post election, it has become a poorly kept secret that the agreement they struck does not hit a "Sonoma living wage" until year five of employment. By this fifth year anniversary of employment most of these likely young workers will have transitioned out of their position seeking higher wages elsewhere. Does the apparent misrepresentation constitute election fraud or just a difference of opinion?

So, why would a union organization and Bolling's boss flagrantly undermine workers such that Bolling feels he has to create the image of c-suite care or concern at the Index-Tribune? And by what magic did this duo of Anderson and Maldonado come together anyway? Did they know each other well prior to the infamous Chateau Sonoma "living wage agreement?"

The link below would imply a close working relationship prior to the final launch of the Graton Casino in Rohnert Park.

Lisa Maldonado was a partner in the "Friends of the Federated Indians of the Graton Rancheria" along with a woman named Susan Moore. Ms. Moore is closely aligned with Susan Gorin who has been holding secret talks about post SDC development for that precious property. Gee, I wonder???

Clearly, Ms. Maldonado and Darius Anderson have a cozy business relationship left over from the installation of the Casino. So end your wondering why a union representative would cut such an egregiously bad deal on behalf future members.

Obviously, Ms. Maldonado's relationship with Anderson and his Vegas Station Casinos client is far more important than being truthful about the agreements she represents are on behalf of future union members.

So what else is in that agreement is so bad that it must be kept from the public?

Sycophantic parasites who live off the crumbs like Chris David-Limo Driver can name call and engage in ad hominems but they never address the facts presented because they simply can't defend the indefensible.

I offer to set up a teleconference Chris with you and Anna to discuss a few things.

When are we talking Chris?
Umberto Smith February 23, 2014 at 04:38 PM
Chris they are not theories. They are based on logic and reason. Sonoma is a town that is being bought and paid for by selfish interests. Sonoma Valley Bank folded and the very people responsible for it's demise continue to parade around as philanthropists. It's a bit disgusting.
